Sweet and Sassy

Gigi treated Emma to a mani/ pedi at Sweet and Sassy in honor of starting first grade. She got purple glitter on her toes and pink glitter on her fingers. She also got flowers painted on one finger and one toe. Afterward, she got glitter spritzed on her legs, arms, and in her hair. It was topped off with two glittery stars on her face. She got to take home a toe ring and a beautiful star ring. Harper wore her tutu in honor of all the girliness. Emma can't wait to have more girl's days at Sweet and Sassy.

Monkeying Around With Maggie

While Mommy got some work done at school, Harper had a blast hanging with her pal, Maggie. They played with her toys, spun in Mrs. Tetley's seat, and even took a ride on the library book cart. Harper is so lucky to have such great friends at school.

Harper has her daddy completely hooked. She just lounges on him and tries to bite his shoulder. She likes testing out her new teeth. She also started doing a new thing where she lays her head on his shoulder and whispers to him. It is too sweet. She is so happy and lucky to have two Daddy-Daughter days a week this year.

Harper's First Day

Harper was very excited to go back to school today. I packed her backpack with extra clothes and bottles and she was set to go. When we got there she was hesitant to go to her teacher at first, but eventually sat and played with a smile on her face. With tears in my eyes, I quickly left and proceeded to stare creepily from the window as she happily played with her friend. As hard as it was to come back, I'm so grateful to have had the opportunity to spend the summer with my hilarious, sweet, smart, beautiful baby girl.

My Favorite Accessory

Harper's newest fashion trend is her pink sequined headband. She wears it everywhere- even to bed. Like any diva, she'll only allow her picture taken so many times before she has a temper tantrum. Notice her newest friend in her hand. It's Chip from Beauty and the Beast. Thanks, Aunt Britty!

Harper's First Date

Okay, so it was only a playdate, but she had such a great time. Brady let her win in a race ( what a gentleman ) and then they both sat in the kitchen wishing for better weather. Brady shared his toys with Harper and even used his own camera to take her picture. The date ended with a hug and a kiss on the cheek. She can't wait for her second date.

Our first amusement park

What a great day we had at Knoebels! Unfortunately, Tony gets sick on rides, so he couldn't make it, but we still had a ton of fun. Gigi, Aunt Britty, Jayce, Emma, Harper and I met up with our cousins and went on some fun rides. I think Harper's favorite was the little car and the carousel. She also loved meeting Kozmo. She went 9 hours with barely a catnap and was the most content little girl. It was a perfect Saturday together as my summer starts to wind down.
